6 Organize Tips to Organize Email Downloads

Organize Tips for Email

Organize Email Tip 1

When you subscribe to receiving information I strongly
suggest you use an alternative email address to the one
you use for personal friends and contacts. That goes for
registering for any information from any site ever.

Organize Email Tip 2

Keep your personal email separate to your subscriptions by
creating a filter that sends every email you get to that
email address into a dedicated subscriptions or
registrations folder.

Organize Email Tip 3

Allow emails to accumulate in that subscriptions mailbox
without causing you stress. You can catch up with them
whenever you want. If any really do not interest you
then unsubscribe.

But what about if there are important or time sensitive
emails? Set up filters for topics that are more important
to you. Read those ones regularly. We have to find a
balance between reading every single subscription email
we receive and actually living our lives, so use filters
to help prioritize things.

Organize Tips for Download Files

Downloads Organize Tip 1

Create a My Downloads folder on your computer and move
every download file into that one folder. Youll then
know where your downloads are.

Downloads Organize Tip 2

Set your download software to add anything new you
download into your main Downloads folder. And keep the
downloads folder in your My Documents. That way youll
easily be able to get to it.

Downloads Organize Tip 3

Then create folders within that folder. I have folders
in my Downloads folder called Cool stuff, Games
Internet Marketing, Main, Net stuff, Other,
Graphic Design, Intelligence, Media, Network
Marketing, System stuff.

Of course I do not expect yours to be exactly the same as
mine but its a good starting place to give you ideas.

Drag and drop your downloads into those folders.
Categorizing them like this will give a lot of perspective
on everything you download from the net.
